Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Hotel Hjarðarból.
Below are our policies and procedures. Please read them carefully.
Check-in
Check-in time is any time after 14:00 PM. If you arrive earlier we will be pleased to store your luggage until your room is ready. We will make every effort to honour special requests (such as a specific room and early check-in). Please note that our reception is open until 22:00. Late check-in is only possible upon prior confirmation by the property.
Check-out
Check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you require a later check-out, please contact us before 10:00 AM on the day of departure, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Payment
Accepted credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Maestro.
Hjarðarból guesthouse reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
Although all prices are quoted in EUR, please note that charges will be made in hotel’s local currency (ISK) according to the exchange rate on the day that the charge is made.
Smoking policy
Hjarðarból is a non-smoking hotel.
Pet policies
All pets are allowed on the property.
Cancellation policy:
Standard rate: If cancelled up to 7 days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.
Non-refundable rate: If cancelled, modified or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
